Overview
Added around Oct 5–6 in its own mini-update as the Spirit Bathhouse raid's drop reward. Community coverage treats it as a top-tier raid pick — sustained, stacking burn damage over time that excels against high-HP raid bosses. A dedicated 3-minute raid video by LUXR covers farming it.
Anime Origin
Flame Director is inspired by Hu Tao (Genshin Impact). Origins are community-identified — the game uses original character names, and this site words origins strictly as "inspired by".

In the Arsenal
Flame Director occupies one of two loadout slots. If it is your stronger pick, keep it in slot one and put a coverage weapon in slot two; swap mid-dungeon with T as cooldowns demand.
