Anime Zero Skill Tree
Where your points go and why — damage first, defense later, sustain when Infinite Mode calls.

The First Node
The first skill-tree node gives roughly +15% damage — the cheapest meaningful power in the game. Points come from skill-tree tokens earned through gameplay, and the opening damage node sets the theme for the whole tree: offense compounds, defense substitutes.
Node Priorities
- Damage nodes — take the flat damage band first; it multiplies everything you do.
- Crit and attack speed — crit pairs with the Deadeye trait family and the 60% crit accessory cap.
- Defense last — your survivability comes from dodge and block execution; tree defense is the weakest layer.
- Sustain for Infinite — cooldown recovery and sustain nodes pay off in Infinite Mode more than anywhere else; align respec plans with deep-run goals.
How It Stacks
Skill-tree damage nodes stack additively with enchant Power and the other multiplier layers. Because traits reroll per-weapon and accessories swap per-build, the tree is your account-level damage floor — the one investment that never needs re-rolling.
